Principal Product Marketing Manager
Description
- Establish positioning, packaging, and pricing for your business portfolio
- Develop commercialization and campaign opportunities to meet or exceed business goals
- Lead go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with channel partners to support product launches and drive conversions and revenue
- Test into net new activations to deliver on additional revenue opportunities for your business lines
- Drive the development, delivery, and optimization of marketing claims, messages, and content to be included as part of integrated marketing campaigns and within product experiences
- Own the end-to-end business customer journey, delivering a delightful experience that ensures a long-term relationship with LegalZoom
- Understand the competitive landscape – be an expert on our competition and how competitors position themselves with commercialization, claims, messaging, and product experiences
- Monitor business health, trends, and changing needs to develop actions plans for your segments
- Serve as a strategic partner to Product Management leadership, influencing product strategy, testing, research, and roadmaps
- Own market research projects for your portfolio to better understand the market and gather intelligence to help inform pricing, product features and benefits, messaging, and GTM strategy
- Work with Marketing, Product Management, UX/Creative, Sales, Customer Care, PR, Engineering, and Legal to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
- Spearhead agentic workflows and AI prototypes to streamline PMM research, automate administrative tasks, and enhance the overall efficiency of the GTM engine
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 7 years specifically in Product Marketing
- Experience driving nationwide campaigns, communications, go-to-market initiatives, and revenue
- Experience applying customer and market research to drive world-class marketing strategy
- Experience with A/B testing, tracking KPI’s, interpreting results, and driving go-forward next steps
- Experience partnering on business and product strategy, development timelines, and processes
- Experience optimizing workflows and tasks by leveraging AI as a power user
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to executives
- Strong experience writing briefs for channel and creative teams
- Success working with cross-functional teams including product, business development, creative, sales, legal, finance, operations, customer service and quality assurance teams
- Experience working in fast paced environments, navigating ambiguity, and adjusting to scope and timeline changes quickly
- Remote Employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred
